The standard cooling system is based on the use of helicoidal fans. These create an air current on the leather surface as it leaves the drying tunnel, thereby lowering the surface temperature and allowing piling. The cooling air can be taken directly from the working environment. Alternatively it can come from outside the building, through specific pipes. Cooling efficiency depends on the temperature of the air used for the process.
